1. Who We Are
Spiced Couple is an online real-time intimacy game for couples, accessible at spicedcouple.com. No account or registration is required to play.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Anonymous Authentication
When you start a game, we create an anonymous user ID via Firebase Authentication (Google LLC). This ID has no link to your name, email or any personal identifier. It is stored locally in your browser and used only to attribute media uploads to your game session.
2.2 Game Session Data
We store temporary session data in Firebase Firestore to synchronize the game between two players. This includes:
- A randomly generated session ID
- Game level and current round
- Confirmation states (who has completed each round)
Session data is associated with your anonymous user ID only. It is not linked to any personal identity.
2.3 Media Files
If the game challenges you to send a photo, voice message or video, that file is uploaded to Firebase Storage (Google LLC) and shared with your partner within the session. Media files are stored temporarily and are not reviewed, analysed or sold. They are accessible only via the unique session URL.
2.4 Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with IP anonymisation enabled. This allows us to understand how users interact with the site in aggregate (pages visited, session duration, device type). No personally identifiable information is collected for analytics purposes.
2.5 What We Do NOT Collect
- Your name, email address or phone number
- Your location beyond approximate country (via IP, anonymised)
- Any information from your contacts or social accounts
- Payment information (premium access is handled by third-party processors)
3. How We Use Your Data
- Session data & anonymous ID — to run the game and synchronise it between two players in real time
- Media files — to deliver your challenge responses to your partner within the session
- Analytics — to improve the game experience and understand usage patterns
We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Retention
- Session data: automatically deleted when the game session ends or after 24 hours of inactivity
- Media files: deleted from Firebase Storage within 24 hours of the session ending
- Anonymous user ID: stored in your browser's IndexedDB until you clear site data
- Analytics data: retained by Google for up to 14 months in accordance with GA4 defaults

Because we collect no personally identifiable information, exercising most of these rights requires clearing your browser's site data, which removes your anonymous session ID. To request deletion of any uploaded media, contact us at the address below.
8. Age Restriction
Spiced Couple is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect any information from persons under 18. If you believe a minor has accessed our service, please contact us immediately.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
